Conventional worldly wisdom (cfr. exacte wetenschap) In essence this consist of four of the five traditional SCIENCES : healing, logic, languages and crafts.
Absolute wisdom beyond the worldly This is the fifth "inner" science or PHILOSOPHY, based on the teachings of the shravakas and the pratyekabuddhas (Theravada), and leads to the understanding that the physical AGGREGATES are unclean, necessarily involve suffering, and are impermanent and devoid of inherent existence (co-existence).
The wisdom of realization This is based on the Mahayana teachings and leads to the recognition that the ultimate nature of all phenomena is intrinsically EMPTY, unborn, groundless and without a source.
Wisdom and Compassion must be united ! (even in a TOE)
To actually realize this lack of substantial existence, which is intrinsic and beyond any CONCEPTUAL idea, you need to MEDITATE. Understanding emptiness (through science) as being free of all limiting CONDITIONS is not enough. If you do not realize this through sustained meditation and familiarization, you will never be free from samsara's suffering !
As a result of meditating on WISDOM and realizing the nature of MIND, you will naturally be inclined toward COMPASSION and beneficial actions !
Without wisdom, the means of compassion (the paramita's) cannot bring you to nirvana, you will remain in the extreme of samsara. Without the means of compassion, wisdom will lead you to remain in the extreme of nirvana.
